Snagging Survey

Is ideal to identify issues with your new-build home on completion of building works.

What is a Snagging Survey?

If you’re about to buy a new build property, we always recommend instructing a Snagging Survey, after all building works have been completed and before exchanging contracts.

This type of Survey highlights issues within a property which aren’t always obviously visible. These could include cosmetic issues such as blemishes to finished paintwork or functional issues such as windows not shutting properly.

What does a Snagging Survey include?

Detailed Inspection

We inspect inside and outside the property, checking walls, ceilings, roof, facade, windows, doors, and surrounding grounds.

Clear Reporting

Our reports include clear photos and detailed descriptions of all findings, making it easy to share with your developer if needed.

Further Investigations

If further investigation is needed, we will clearly highlight and comment on it within the report for your reference.

Reinspections
If required, we can also revisit your property once the snagging items have been addressed to verify that they have been completed.
